There are two types of marking to give information about antifreeze in the vehicle:
1. Applied to the exterior of the vehicle close to the radiator, e.g. on the front of the bonnet. The marking was a white square with a solid red circle, this indicates the vehicle is protected to the maximum.
|2. Applied to the radiator itself. The marking was a white square with a red circle in it. This indicates only limited protection with antifreeze and most likely would be used where vehicles were parked in a building.|
